Search Queries
When a visitor types a name, location, or similar lookup term into a search tool, that query may be sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Maryland Inmate Population does not keep its own separate log of those search terms. The provider's own privacy terms control how its system handles the query.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send an email or contact message, we use the information in that message to read it, respond, and keep a limited record of the exchange. Do not send Social Security numbers, medical details, passwords, payment information, confidential legal strategy, or other unnecessary sensitive information. We do not share contact messages outside the organization unless a legal obligation requires it.
